Salomé Perli is a violinist, pianist, and singer
at the intersection of contemporary music and experimental jazz. A member of the string section of the Orchestre National de Jazz de Montréal, she also demonstrates her talents as an arranger and her considerable instrumental versatility through her solo projects. As a composer, she explores a wide variety of instrumentations.

This virtuous cycle of semi-written, semi-improvised compositions is distinguished by subtle contrasts and a propensity for risk-taking.
This project was born in spring 2023 during a residency at the Centre d'Expérimentation Musicale (Chicoutimi), in a remarkable orchestral format, bringing together a jazz septet and a string quartet. It has now been reimagined to be presented by an experimental jazz septet, using a multitude of electroacoustic tools to fully immerse the audience in this meditative experience.
